31 Days of Blogging

31 Days of Blogging

I did it! I blogged every day in May, Hurrah! Pat myself on the back.

I have to admit there were a couple of days where I really didn’t feel like writing anything, but you know, I wrote anyway and it helped me mentally. May was Mental Health Awareness Month in the US and for one week of it in the UK, a week pfft, and I wrote each day as I have mental health to deal with.

I didn’t know what I was going to write at the beginning, I just decided to do it, literally on the 1st May! I sometimes plan what I’m going to write, or at least what I’m going to write about but 99% of the time it is whatever is in my head and however it comes out.

I find it difficult to verbally express how I’m feeling and what I’m thinking but I can write it, so I did.

I did this, I still can’t quite believe what I’ve achieved on the blog this month and it’s made me really happy, happier than I have been for a long time. My mental and physical health has been better, the weather has been amazing! If you don’t believe me check out my Instagram for 365 days of images from my back door.

I’ve connected with some fantastically supportive bloggers, Sunshine Raindrops and Tea in the Garden, Discovering your Happiness, Living Simple, Real Mom Blog, Steff’s Journey, Man vs Adulthood, Brutal Honesty Blogger, Adventuring Woman, Red Lips and Rose, Renew or Redo, Cherishing Flo, P.S. Barbosa, Mother of Girls, Saving Joyfully, Binging on a Budget, Tales from Home, Insecure Housewife, Trinity Yana Matthews, Sane Momma, Dan Swords, A Chronic Voice, My Passion Projects, A Fierce Mind, Dinosaurs, Donkeys and MS – OMG this list could go one forever! To any other blogging friends, if I have missed you from this list I apologise! If you have a few minutes go check our these guys cause their awesome.

And I must also thank each and everyone of my readers for being here. When I started this I really didn’t think anyone would read it, I was fine with that and I still would be, but it’s so exciting that you are here to look at it!

I still haven’t decided on my blogging schedule going forward, I’ve really really enjoyed blogging every day and I may continue, we’ll see, watch this space, yes this one right here → (space to watch)

See ya!

  1. Wow well done! You’ve done brilliantly to be able to write every single day! Sorry just realised how often I use exclamation marks 😱 just off to have a read of a few more of your posts. I was thinking I haven’t seen you on Twitter for a few days so not surprising really as you’ve been so busy writing 😃 You’re so right – if you find it hard talking about things it’s so much better to write things down, you write so well like you are talking, which I think is a really good thing! 🙂

  2. You did such a wonderful job too. Blogging a few times a week is hard and everyday must be quite a challenge. I am so glad we met my friend! I really enjoyed connecting with you as well and thanks for all the encouragement since I started as well.
